Amazing "living museum" with houses brought in from all iver Germany. They range from the 1400-1800. The water wheel house, lathes, and saw mill are still operational and in use.

the museum has been setup with lots of care and details. information available is unfortunately rather limited, at least for English speaking guests. it's recommended to purchase the combined ticket with the museum in the center

Great museum that takes you back to times gone by. Nicely prepared and informatively explained. So you learn to really appreciate the comfort of the current times.

An exciting insight into how people lived and worked in the Ore Mountains. There is so much passion in this museum that I don't know what to write. I am speechless by the many beautiful impressions. The water wheels that drive the machines, the spatial interior design and the buildings themselves. The large outdoor area and the well-kept surroundings. Entry is 6 euros for an adult and anyone complaining about that has no idea. Keep it up. I would give this 100 stars for that.
